Welcome to Berks Girls Basketball (BGB)! We are dedicated to providing you with the best coverage of high school girls basketball in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Our goal is to offer quality writing, exclusive interviews, and in-depth coverage to elevate the accomplishments and recognize the hard work of the players and teams from the 18 high schools that make up the Berks Girls League.

Editor-in-chief Sean McBryan has covered Berks County girls basketball since 2022. He began his communications career at the Reading Eagle in 2017 as a sports clerk before advancing to cover the amateur soccer club Reading United and various high school sports. He began freelance work for MikeDragoSports.com covering Berks County football in 2021 before jumping on the girls basketball beat. He also freelances for City of Basketball Love covering basketball in the Philadelphia area.

Sean holds a master's degree in communications, specializing in Journalism Innovation, from Syracuse University and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Penn State. He currently resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he can be found walking his two dachshunds Mando and Obi, enjoying a beverage at a local brewery or coffee shop, or watching his beloved (?) Philadelphia sports teams.
