Berks Catholic will move from Berks I to Berks II in both boys and girls basketball beginning with the 2026-27 season after BCIAA approval of a new Berks Girls Basketball League alignment. The move ends the Saints’ six-season run in Berks I while keeping the conference’s current crossover scheduling format intact.

Former Berks Catholic standout Madison Langdon made an immediate impact during her freshman season at Randolph-Macon, appearing in all 29 games for a Yellow Jackets team that reached the NCAA Tournament. While her stats were modest, her versatility, defense, and growth stood out. Now, with a full year of college experience and postseason play behind her, Langdon is poised to take a significant step forward in year two.

Gov. Mifflin junior Bella Super earned Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State honors for the second straight season, highlighting another standout year in which she led Berks County in scoring and pushed the Mustangs back into the PIAA playoffs while continuing her climb up the county’s all-time scoring list.

Former Twin Valley standout Peyton McDaniel turned loyalty into legacy at James Madison, finishing her career with 2,325 points — ranking among the top scorers in NCAA women’s basketball history. Through injury, conference changes, and the transfer portal era, McDaniel stayed true to one program while building one of the greatest careers in JMU history.
