Avery Baransky
Senior, Tulpehocken
The 5-8 point guard averaged 8.0 points per game last season, the highest on the Trojans. Baransky was an all-division choice last season and has received significant playing time in all of her high school seasons. The Trojans are coming off a 5-7 divisional record and plan to improve.
Addison Benner
Senior, Brandywine Heights
A three-level scorer who can also handle the ball, Benner is the top returning player in the division. The four-year starter has averaged double figures in each year of her high school career, including 14.1 ppg last season. The 5-11 guard/forward needs only 20 points to reach 1,000 for her career.
Sophia Benner
Freshman, Brandywine Heights
The 5-7 guard will jump right into a key role with Bullets after the graduation of guards Olivia Moyer and Dana Wartzenluft. Having a senior sister as her teammate, mother as assistant coach, and father as her head coach will help the jump to varsity ball, but multiple Berks IV coaches don't expect the frosh to need much. The younger Benner has a solid 3-point shot already.
Izzy Buehler
Senior, Oley Valley
Buehler, a 5-8 forward, was an all-division honorable mention pick on a loaded Oley Valley team that finsihed 17-7 last season. That team featured two all-division picks (Dana Messner and Ryanne Wheeler) and an All-Berks pick (Morgan Snyder). Well, Messner, Wheeler, and Snyder have all graduated so it's up to Buehler (6.9 ppg) and the Lynx to defend the division crown.
Jade Fitzgerald
Sophomore, Kutztown
The 5-7 guard/forward had a productive freshman season scoring 4.9 points per game. She shot 56 free throws, a sign of her aggressiveness when it comes to attacking the basket. Fitzgerald was the only freshman to gain all-division honors in Berks IV last season with an honorable mention nod.
Hailey Graham
Senior, Kutztown
Kutztown's 6-0 senior all-division forward was the Cougars' second-leading scorer last season at 6.0 points per game, in addition to all she provides in rim protection and rebounding. Graham will look to further unlock her game with new head coach and former player Jess Plisko at the helm.
Lily Hare
Junior, Oley Valley
As mentioned previously, there are big shoes to fill in Oley Valley with over 60-percent of its scoring gone. The 5-3 guard was one of three Lynx to play in all 24 games last season and hit 12 3s, third most on the team.
Airyana Jones
Senior, Antietam
The 6-1 center tied for the highest scoring average on the team — with Marleena Rinkevich — at 5.1 points per game. Jones was an all-division HM pick last season. She's played in 42 games over the past two seasons and will be counted on as a vital leader for new head coach Jamie Harle.
Marleena Rinkevich
Junior, Antietam
The 5-3 junior guard will team up with Jones to help usher in a new era of Antietam girls basketball after three wins in the past three seasons. Rinkevich hit a team-high 13 3s last season. That outside shooting, along with Rinkevich's court awareness, are good traits to have.
Juliet Snyder
Senior, Tulpehocken
Like her teammate Avery Baransky, Snyder has been a key player for the Trojans every season of her high school career. The 5-10 center was an all-division honorable mention pick after averaging 6.1 points per game last season.
Others to watch: Brandywine Heights junior Jenna Crist, Kutztown junior Jayden Gehris, Brandywine Heights junior Kam Henry, Kutztown sophomore Kaitlyn Houptley, Tulpehocken junior Lyla Pugh, Antietam senior Alyzah Reyes, Oley Valley sophomore Kadyn Rhoads, Brandywine Heights junior Lauren Stoudt, Brandywine Heights sophomore Lizzie Tomaine, Oley Valley junior Julia Wagner,
