The district playoff win is the first since for the Lynx since a 2015 win over Tulpehocken in the 2A classification.

The second-seeded Braves beat the Lynx 71-40 in early December during the Tulpehocken Tip-off Tournament. More applicable context: The Braves beat Columbia 45-39 on Dec. 17, lost to Exeter 52-34 on Dec. 28, and lost to Manheim Township 42-28 in the Lancaster-Lebanon League playoff semifinals Feb. 8.

On Tuesday, Buehler scored 11 of her 15 in the first half as the Lynx jumped out to a 10-point halftime lead on the Crimson Tide (12-11).

Hare scored six of her 12 in the third quarter to hold of the Tide's run backed by Lexie Droege's six.

Sehrena Finks-Garcia scored 12 of her game-high 19 in the fourth for Colubmia, but Oley held on.

Oley Valley is one of eight Berks schools to win a district championship with Wilson (6), Central Catholic (4), Holy Name (4), Wyomissing (2), Exeter (1), Gov. Mifflin (1), and Muhlenberg (1).

The Lynx captured district gold in 2011 with a 71-62 victory over Lancaster Catholic in the 3A championship.
