Outlook: Strong returning senior class will get a boost with the transfer of Welker, Boone's top player the past two seasons. Saints will be motivated after first losing season in BC history and two straight losses in BCIAA semis.
Wilson Bulldogs
Coach: Matt Racquet, first season.
Last season: 12-0 Berks I champion, 24-5 overall, Berks finalist, District 3 fourth-place finisher, PIAA qualifier.

Outlook: The Bulldogs notched their first District 3 victory since 2019 and first state playoff appearance in six seasons last year, but there were many moving parts this offseason. Head coach Chris Gallo unexpectedly resigned and All-Berks junior guard Laila Jones is out for the season after she tore her ACL during AAU. The Bulldogs still return an experienced core capable of defending their Berks I crown with new head coach Matt Racquet.
Gov. Mifflin Mustangs
Coach: Mike Clark, 13th season, 206-106 (299-124 overall, including four seasons at Oley Valley).
Last season: 7-5 Berks I, 15-10 overall, Berks semifinalist, District 3 qualifier.

Key losses: All-Berks F Taylor Koenig, G Keira Estrada, F Hannah West (transferred to Schuylkill Valley).
Top players: All-division So. G Bella Super, all-division honorable mention So. G Brooklyn George, So. G Bridget Martin.
Key players: Sr. C Mia Vazquez, So. F Ja'Tiyah Case, Fr. F Saray Renninger.
Outlook: Unbound potential for returning underclassmen trio of Super, George, and Martin. More youngsters expected to make an impact this year, too. Will have to make up for losses of Koenig, Estrada, and West, who combined for 108 3's for the always-bombs-away Mustangs last season.
Reading High Red Knights
Coach: Rashida Suber, fifth season, 43-45.
Last season: 7-5 Berks I, 10-13 overall, Berks qualifier.

Key losses: All-division honorable mention C Mariah Ruiz, G Bianca Seabury.

Key players: Sr. F Elyssa Spring, Sr. F Zaniaya Bradley, Sr. G Kailani Ocasio, Jr. F JilliAnn Laws, Jr. G/F Nayara Ortega, Jr. G Mekhira Gaskins, Fr. G Xiani Beatty.
Outlook: Red Knights' past two seasons have ended at the hands of Wyomissing, last season in the BCIAA quarterfinals and two seasons ago in the BCIAA championship. Rodriguez and Collier are experienced and have been playing together for years. Red Knights will go as they do.
Muhlenberg Muhls
Coach: Wes Giddens, third season, 16-28.
Last season: 4-8 Berks I, 8-14 overall.

Outlook: Narrowly missed District 3 5A playoff field last season, but now move up to 6A. Four starters return after back-to-back 8-14 seasons so Muhls will be aiming for first winning season since 2017.
