Who will reach 1,000 points in the 2026-27 season?

Last season, three players eclipsed 1,000 career points: Wilson senior Laila Jones, Twin Valley senior Hailey Kilgore, and Gov. Mifflin junior Bella Super.

Jones did it in three seasons after missing a whole year with a torn ACL.

Kilgore became the sixth Raider to reach the mark, the first since Peyton McDaniel, and advanced all the way to No. 3 in program history.

Super returns to try and chase Ashley Espinosa's program record.

In the 2024-25 season, two players eclipsed 1,000 career points: Brandywine Heights senior Addison Benner and Berks Catholic senior Madison Langdon..

Three girls eclipsed 1,000 points in 2023-24: Exeter senior Grace Reedy, Oley Valley senior Morgan Snyder, and Wyomissing junior Amaya Stewart.

Stewart tacked on to that total in her senior season, finishing as the Spartans' all-time leading scorer and No. 7 scorer in Berks girls history with 1,904 points.

Reedy is also the all-time leading scorer for the Eagles with 1,403.

Only one reached the mark in 2022-23: Berks Catholic senior Caraline Herb, who finished with 1,140.

Who is next in line to reach 1K in the 2026-27 season? There's one very likely suspect, and after that, time will tell.

Wilson senior Kailani Hardy, the reigning Berks Player of the Year, enters the season with 906 points.

Then, Exeter junior Addison Harper (647), Gov. Mifflin seniors Bridget Martin (643) and Brooklyn George (631), Kutztown senior Kaitlyn Houptley (600), and Conrad Weiser senior Geniva Paul (572) follow.

Overall, 146 girls have scored 1,000 or more points in Berks girls basketball history.

Daniel Boone's Wendy Davis is still the county's all-time leading scorer with 2,504 points.

Wilson has the most 1,000-point scorers with 14 followed by Reading High (12), Gov. Mifflin (12), and Daniel Boone (10).
