Berks Catholic's senior guard has been near the top of the statistical leaderboards in scoring, 3-pointers, and free throw percentage all season.
Madison Langdon took her play to a new level last week, scoring a career-high 32 points in a 79-50 victory over Muhlenberg Jan. 30 and 12 points in a 49-43 win over Reading High on Jan. 27.
Langdon broke her previous career high of 30, which she reached in February 2024 against Conrad Weiser.

Langdon is averaging 15.1 points per game, the third-highest scoring average in Berks. She's hit 41 3s, also the third-highest total in Berks, and has made the most free throws (78) at a 79.6-percent clip.
"Madison is a true leader on and off the court," Berks Catholic head coach Bob Birmingham said. "Her ability to score from anywhere on the floor and her defensive aggressiveness are key to her success. She has put a lot of time in to get where she is today."
The guard broke the 1,000-point threshold in December to become the fifth Berks Catholic girl to reach the mark. She currently sits at 1,202 career points and 123 career 3-pointers.
Langdon has led the Saints to a three-game winning streak to close out their regular season and position them in the No. 6 seed in the District 3 Class 4A tournament. The cutoff date for games to count for ranking purposes is Feb. 12.
This is the fourth time Langdon has been selected Player of the Week. The senior was selected once as a sophomore and twice as a junior, when she became only the second player to win Player of the Week on back-to-back weeks.
Player of the Week was initially awarded by Mike Drago Sports, where Berks girls basketball coverage was previously provided.
Langdon and Caraline Herb are the two Saints to earn a Player of the Week award. Langdon joins Reading High's Yamilex Rodriguez, Twin Valley's Hailey Kilgore, Oley Valley's Izzy Buehler, Exeter's Meredith Fylypowycz, Wyomissing's Amaya Stewart, Wilson's Kailani Hardy, Gov. Mifflin's Bella Super, and Muhlenberg's Lianna Martir as BGB Players of the Week this season.
Players considered for Player of the Week honors are nominated by their coach or by members of the BerksGirlsBasketball.com coverage team.
