Super scored 31 points Tuesday in a win over Reading High, reaching 1,000 career points when she hit a 3-pointer with 5:44 left in the second quarter.

On Friday, she scored a team-high 19 points in a win over Cocalico. On Saturday, she scored a team-high 21 points in a loss to Central York.

Super leads the league with a 21.3 scoring average and is third with 28 made 3-pointers. She has made 44 free throws at a 73.3-percent rate, one of only seven Berks players with at least 15 attempts to shoot 70 percent or higher from the foul line.

Each week, BGB will select a Player of the Week with input and nominations from Berks Girls League coaches and our staff.

This season, the selected player will be featured on billboards in central Berks County and in the area of that player's school district, courtesy of Lamar Advertising. Keep an eye out for the billboards featuring Super throughout the week.

Super was an all-Berks pick as a sophomore and all-division pick as a freshman.

The Mustangs are second in Berks I with 4-1 league and 8-4 overall records.

This is the second Player of the Week selection for Super, who won the award on Jan. 20 last season, and third for Gov. Mifflin overall.

Taylor Koenig was also selected in the 2023-24 season.

Player of the Week was initially awarded by Mike Drago Sports, where Berks girls basketball coverage was previously provided from 2022-24.

Players considered for Player of the Week honors are nominated by their coach, an opposing Berks coach, and/or by members of the BerksGirlsBasketball.com coverage team.
